The company
Light Cloud, Inc. builds a deployment platform for web apps, and open-source tools for cloud infrastructure.
The Light Cloud platform is a deployment host for web apps. Connect a GitHub repository and every push ships. It runs static sites, containers, and managed Postgres, gives every branch its own preview URL, and lets you deploy from Claude or GitHub Copilot.
Labs is the open-source side. ICE is a visual editor for cloud infrastructure that deploys to your own cloud accounts. Its blocks and templates are the building units. Apache 2.0, no telemetry, no licence keys.
Two ways to work: a managed platform when you want your app online fast, and an open editor when you want to design and own the infrastructure yourself.
Push to GitHub and get a live URL. Static builds go to a global CDN, containers run on Cloud Run, and managed Postgres sits alongside them. Preview environments, custom domains, logs, and metrics are built in. Billing is usage-based and scales to zero when an app is idle.
Cloud infrastructure tooling is foundational. It should be readable, forkable, and free of licence-key gates. ICE Community Edition is the full product for individuals. Team and Cloud editions add multi-user features that only make sense in a hosted context.
